Challenges of a personal and weather related nature

Today rivers in the Four Corners area will crest. Photos from traffic cams (yes they are available on Colorado site on line!) show snow/sleet in higher elevations...but here is just lots of muddy water.

I was surprised when the area near the church had evacuations last evening, due to a small creek Junction Creek, flooding nearby. I know a lot of UUs live in that area, and hope all is well for them. There was an email canceling the meeting I planned to attend yesterday and all today's activities at church. The church itself is on high ground, so that's a blessing!

Going places out of town is definitely on hold. The highway to Cortez where my family live is closed from floods near Durango The mudslides are taking crews with bucket trucks to clear roads that curve around mountain slopes at lower elevations, while they were prepared to deal with snow and ice at higher elevations

Whew...this is something that is totally unexpected! I was preparing myself for snow. And dry dusty air. Not, oh Lordy! NOT more cold and wet!

What's that you say? The spiral continues to bring you around till you come back around to the same place? Until you learn the lesson its bringing you? Harumph!!

Cough cough cough...doing breathing, exercise, and... what else can I, should I do? OK, maybe cut back on screen time. Maybe I can return to meditating. I ponder things that are actually possible. Clean up here and there?

Baby steps.

I know the exercise is much bigger than that. I'm still seriously considering backing out of one of the programs...though I know I need both PT and Pulmonary Rehab (both started last week!)

Some wise person once taught me, "start."

"What is the next right thing to do?"
