Love your crone, Barbara!
I don't think of the Crone as a destroyer. She is female power unhindered which is why male dominated religion demonizes her. She has come into her own while men lose their power as they age.
I agree Ellen! I link the destroyer aspect to the Hindu goddess Kali much more than I do to the Crone. I prefer to remember the myths that she sits at the crossroads to aid travelers on the correct path, a three way crossroad. She might even be the precursor of the guides now in the voice of Seri who, with the digital age, give travelers (sometimes inaccurate) instructions.
